Goods Received - Edit - Automatically Post to Jobs

This option only applies if you are using the Micronet Job Costing system (MJC). Select this option if you want Micronet to automatically post any materials that you have allocated to jobs using either the Allocations menu option (refer to "Enter Goods Received Line - Allocations (v2.7)") or the Alternate Job Interface menu option (refer to "Goods Received - Edit - Alternate Job Interface").

When you select this option and post a goods received batch as either costed or uncosted, Micronet automatically runs the Allocation from Purchasing / Transfers program and posts the items that have been pre-allocated to the appropriate jobs.

If you don't select this option, you will need to run the Allocation from Purchasing / Transfers program manually after you have posted the goods received batch (refer to "Sales - Allocation From Purchasing / Transfers"). Although you have allocated the items to jobs, they are not actually posted to those jobs until this program has been run.

To automatically run the Allocation from Purchasing / Transfers program when you post a goods received batch:

1. Display the Goods Received screen.

Refer to "Goods Received - Menu Options".

2. Select EDIT | AUTOMATICALLY POST TO JOBS.

Technical Tip This menu option toggles automatic posting on and off. A tick appears next to the menu option when automatic posting is toggled on. In that case, choosing this menu option removes the tick and toggles automatic posting off.

Micronet redisplays the Goods Received screen.
